Brand Guidelines
These guidelines describe the visual elements that represent Coinstar for Retail's corporate identity. This includes our name, logo and other elements such as color, typography and graphics. Sending a consistent and controlled message of who we are is essential to presenting a strong, unified image of our company.
These guidelines reflect Coinstar for Retail's commitment to quality, consistency and style. The Coinstar for Retail brand, including the logo, name, colors and identifying elements are valuable company assets. Each of us is responsible for protecting the company’s interests by preventing unauthorized or incorrect use of Coinstar for Retail's and marks.

Pentagram The Pentagram consists of five circles and exists to the right of the Wordmark.

Wordmark The Wordmark uses the Coinstar Dark Green color, applying the Karbon font to the word "Coinstar," while the words "FOR RETAIL" are displayed in all caps using Adrianne Regular.
Primary Logos
This full-color version of the primary logo should be used whenever possible. Use the complete electronic artwork in the way it is provided. Do not alter, distort or realign the logo in any way. No elements should be added to the logo.

Use the white variation on dark backgrounds. Use the black variation on light backgrounds only when color is not supported. The full-color logo provided here is optimized for digital applications and should be used on white or light backgrounds when color is supported.

Use the full-color version of the logo mark on white and light photographic backgrounds and the white version on dark photographic backgrounds. Avoid using the full-color logo on photographic backgrounds without a light overlay or when the background is busy.Logo Applications

Improper Usage
Do not alter the Coinstar for Retail logo in any way that is not included in these guidelines. Examples of what to avoid include:
Changing the color of the logo
Altering or rearranging the pentagram
Placing the logo inside a shape
Primary Color System
Coinstar for Retail's color system adds richness and energy to the colors in the Coinstar for Retail brandmark. Jalapeño adds depth and can be used as a background or text color, while the bright Habanero hue is to be used strategically for calls to action and other important callouts.
Secondary Color System
Use black and white as needed to provide negative space on designs where contrast is needed against the Jalapeño green. Use white text on dark backgrounds and black text on light or white backgrounds.

Display / Headline Type Face
Open Sans is a humanist sans serif typeface. It was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. This font was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms.
